Who I Help · Property Investors

The broker for Australian property investors.

I work with investors who want a portfolio, not just a loan. People who've already bought one property, or are planning to, and who've realised the structure of the finance is what decides whether they'll buy the next one.

I'm an investor first. My partner and I have built a seven-property portfolio. I structure your finance the same way I structure mine.

The Investors I Work With

You'll likely see yourself in one of these.

Most of my clients fit one of five investor archetypes. The specifics differ. The pattern... the way structure decides what's possible next... is the same.

The investor scaling beyond property one

You bought your first investment property and you can feel the structure starting to bite. The bank that did the first loan now caps you at two properties. Your equity is building but you don't know how to release it cleanly. You want to keep going.

The self-employed or contractor investor

Your income is real but it doesn't fit the standard PAYG box. Some lenders read your business financials well, others don't. The right lender for you is the one who reads the full picture, including addbacks. Most brokers don't know which lender that is.

The investor with a complex income mix

Salary plus RSUs, salary plus rental, salary plus business income, salary plus inheritance. Lenders treat each component differently. Getting the picture right at application stage decides whether you get the answer you need.

The investor buying interstate or remotely

You live in one capital and you're buying in another, or you're buying somewhere you've never seen. The finance side is straightforward when you have a broker who's done it themselves. I have. I have property in markets I've never visited.

The investor working with structure (trusts, SMSFs, companies)

Your accountant has set up the structure. The job is finding lenders who'll lend to it. Trust loans, SMSF lending via LRBA, company structures... not all lenders will play, and the ones that will have specific policies. I work alongside your accountant or planner, not in their seat.

Why I'm Different

What you actually get, working with me.

Lived experience

I'm an investor first.

My partner and I have built a seven-property portfolio. I structure your finance the same way I structure mine. The mistakes I'll help you avoid are mistakes I've already made on my own balance sheet.

Structure first

The structure decides what comes next.

The cheapest rate today is worthless if the loan structure stops you buying property two. I lead with structure, then come to rate. Lender sequencing, ownership entity, equity access... rate is the last decision, not the first.

Beyond settlement

Loans are reviewed, not set-and-forget.

Property markets and lender policies change. Your finance shouldn't sit untouched for ten years. I review my clients' loans every three to six months. Not a sales call... an actual structural check on whether the loan still serves the goal.

Best Interests Duty

Your interests are the legal standard.

Australian brokers are bound by Best Interests Duty under NCCP. That means I have to recommend the loan that's right for you, not the one that pays the most commission. It's also how I work by default. The standard wouldn't have changed how I do it.

The Way I Work

Three steps, then it doesn't stop.

01

We map where you actually are.

Existing loans, equity position, cashflow, structure, what's planned. Not just the bank's view... the real picture. Often the first thing we find is unused equity or a structural blocker the existing broker missed.

02

We design what comes next.

The lender sequence for the next purchase or refinance. Where the equity goes. Which lenders to use and in what order. What to leave intact. The decision is informed by lender policy as it sits today, not 18 months ago.

03

We execute, and then we review.

I manage the application from start to settlement. Then we don't disappear. Every three to six months I check the loan against where you've moved. Rates, structure, capacity, opportunities. The review is included.

In My Own Portfolio

Every loan in my own seven-property portfolio was structured deliberately. Lender sequence chosen, equity access mapped, ownership structure agreed with my accountant. That's what I bring to your portfolio.

Common Questions

Frequently asked.

Are you only available for property investors?

I work with anyone who wants honest finance broking, but property investors are where most of my time goes. Investing changes the way you have to think about finance, and the broker who hasn't done it themselves often doesn't see the second-order effects. If you're a first home buyer or refinancing, I'm happy to help, and I'll be just as direct.

Do you charge a fee?

Generally, no. Banks pay me a commission when your loan settles, and it doesn't change your rate or your loan amount. More complex strategic work like developments, house flips, or deals with claw-back risk may involve a small upfront fee, always disclosed before any work starts.

I'm interstate. Can we still work together?

Yes, easily. I have clients across Australia and most of the work happens by phone, email and secure document upload. Property doesn't care where the broker lives. What matters is the broker knowing the lenders comfortable with your specific market.

What's the difference between this page and the investment loans page?

This page is about who I work with and how. The investment loans page covers the product side: borrowing capacity, equity release, lender sequencing, FAQ, calculators. If you're ready to look at the mechanics, that's the page. If you're working out whether I'm the right broker for you, you're in the right place.

How quickly do you reply?

As soon as possible, to every enquiry. Existing clients get the same priority. The thing most investors complain about with their previous broker is being chased rather than the broker being available. That's the bar.

What can't you do?

I'm not your accountant, financial planner, SMSF specialist, or buyer's agent. I work alongside those professionals and refer to ones I trust where it makes sense. The loan structure is mine. The tax position, fund strategy, and property selection sit with the right specialists.
